HOW IT ALL STARTED

It all started with a simple question from a client. How can we transform our employer brand so that we are able to attract millennials cheaper and faster? From that question, The Talent Games was born. Paul Keijzer and Shail Niazi proposed to build a recruitment solution that use a specifically design social media employer branding campaign to attract candidates and a real-life work scenario-based game to assess candidates. And the rest, as they say, is history.

We still remember, it took us 6 weeks to develop and launch our first Race2BoardRoom game, and when we went live, the market was taken by storm. Our first client was able to increase their numbers of applicants by 10x and improve their hire rate by 8x. Best of all was that the client rose to become the third most preferred employer for graduate students overnight, restoring a position they had lost decades ago.

From that first client, a second came on board and then a third and from there we decided to develop a syndicated game that multiple companies could use at the same time and in doing so significantly lower the investment cost. Our footprint expanded from deploying solutions in our pilot market Pakistan, and we launched our solutions in Bangladesh, Vietnam and soon to be followed by Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa.

We set out to transform the way companies recruit Millennials. Over the past few years, we have learned that candidates love the game experience, companies love the deep insights, the speed and reduction in costs. We are at this inflection point, where we genuinely believe that companies who don’t adapt innovative ways to attract and recruit millennials will soon look like dinosaurs.
